What is the Cyclist Welcome program?

The Cyclist Welcome program is designed to make life easier for bike travellers looking for useful services.
Cyclist Welcome companies welcome bike travellers even when muddy, providing them with safe bike storage, pump and basic tools, a charging point and information about routes and bike services in the area. 

On the road, you can identify them from the Cyclist Welcome badge.
Companies with the label also access the CYCLEST map and benefit from the joint marketing of Estonian bike tourism.

Want to join Cyclist Welcome program?

Anyone planning their cycling trip on their own likes to spend the night in places where there is a special service for cycling guests.
If you want to be with us as bicycle friendly accommodation, you will get your own presentation page at cyclest.cc
You get access to an advanced web platform that is effective in terms of hits in search engines. You will also receive a physical stickers sent by post that you can put up at the entrance and which helps cyclists find their way.

It costs 99 EUR per year to join for accommodations and 49 EUR per year for other services (cafes, hotels, bike services).

The following is included  (the service is an annual subscription):
- own presentation page at cyclest.cc
- contact details for booking and direct link to your website.
- found on relevant pages for cycle paths, destinations and cycle tours.
- physical sticker "Cyclist Welcome" to attach to entrances.
- digital sticker "Cyclist Welcome" to display on your website and social media.

In order to receive the Cyclist Welcome badge, we require that the company familiarizes itself with the criteria for a bike friendly service. The CYCLEST for cycling tourism has defined specific Cyclist Welcome criteria for each service category:

This is what we expect from all cycle friendly accommodation :

- secure bicycle storage
- possibility to borrow a bicycle pump and simpler tools
- contact details for the nearest bicycle service
- being within 5-10 km of a cycle route
- having services adapted to cyclists: luggage transfert, washing and drying of linen, bicycle rental, bicycles washing
